Screenshots and Markdown MCP server for Harvey

Use ScreenshotOne in Harvey through a custom MCP connector. You need a ScreenshotOne account and a Harvey workspace where custom MCP connectors are enabled.

  1. Ask a Harvey workspace administrator to enable custom MCP connectors if they are not available to you yet.

  2. In Harvey, add a custom MCP connector named ScreenshotOne with this server URL:

    https://mcp.screenshotone.com
  3. Select OAuth authentication if Harvey asks for it. Leave any optional OAuth client ID, client secret, and scope fields empty: Harvey registers itself with ScreenshotOne automatically. You do not need a ScreenshotOne API key.

  4. Connect, sign in to your ScreenshotOne account in the browser window that opens, and select Allow.

  5. Check that the connector lists render-website-screenshot, extract-website-markdown, and get-usage.

Every Harvey user connects their own ScreenshotOne account. See Harvey’s MCP connectors article for the current steps in your workspace.

Send this prompt:

Use ScreenshotOne's render-website-screenshot tool to capture
https://example.com with full_page=true. Show me the returned image URL.

A successful call returns a temporary image url. Open it and save the image before the link expires; links last up to four hours.

To read a page instead of capturing it, ask Harvey to use extract-website-markdown, which returns the page’s cleaned Markdown.

  • Use the root URL exactly as shown, without /mcp or /sse.
  • Remove the connector and add it again to start a new authorization.
  • If you never see the ScreenshotOne sign-in or Allow page, contact us with the time you tried and the error Harvey showed.

Screenshots run in ScreenshotOne’s browser, not in your signed-in browser, so start with a public URL.

See the MCP tool reference for Markdown, full-page slices, and other screenshot options. Manage or revoke access in MCP connections.
