Hermes Agent
Screenshots and Markdown MCP server for Hermes Agent
Use a current Hermes Agent release with remote MCP OAuth support and a ScreenshotOne account.
Add and authorize the server
Section titled “Add and authorize the server”hermes mcp add screenshotone --url https://mcp.screenshotone.com --auth oauthOn connection, Hermes opens a browser for ScreenshotOne authorization. Sign in and approve access. To explicitly start authentication again, run:
hermes mcp login screenshotoneAlternatively, merge this into ~/.hermes/config.yaml:
mcp_servers: screenshotone: url: https://mcp.screenshotone.com auth: oauthUse the configuration for your active Hermes profile if you have named profiles. Hermes stores and refreshes OAuth credentials for that profile. See the MCP configuration reference and CLI reference.
Capture a page
Section titled “Capture a page”Use ScreenshotOne's render-website-screenshot tool to capturehttps://example.com with full_page=true. Download the returned imageURL into my workspace and tell me the saved filename.Hermes may display the tool as mcp__screenshotone__render_website_screenshot. Expect a temporary url from the tool and a separate download step. Check the saved file before the URL expires, which can be up to four hours.
If authentication fails
Section titled “If authentication fails”Make sure auth: oauth is set and you are using the intended profile. Run the login command again if access was revoked. When Hermes runs over SSH, follow its remote OAuth instructions so the browser callback reaches the correct host.
See MCP tool options or manage access.
